Alexandra Cashion is a Melbourne based writer, with an interest in social and political commentary. Alexandra completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2010 at Monash University, majoring in English Literature and History. In 2012 she graduated with a Master of International Relations degree with First Class Honours from the University of Melbourne and completed a thesis entitled ‘Women and the Arab Spring.’
Alexandra is the online editor for Archer Magazine. She has previously been employed by the Australian Embassy in Copenhagen, Denmark in 2009 and from 2012-2013, worked in marketing and communications for an interpreting service, within the Australian public service.
She writes about social and political affairs, gender, LGBTI issues and environmental conservation.
